My Thoughts: OMG words can not express who sad and happy I was at the beginning, middle and end of this series. It had me from the first to the final word. We have reached the epic conclusion of Nila and Jet’s story. This has been a rough road for both of them and all of us readers. Pepper does another amazing job of keeping you on your toes it is amazing. All of my and your questions are answered and it is even better than I could have ever thought……..
One of the things I really loved was how we got so much back ground, Cut, Jasmine, Daniel, my gosh wow we learn so much from their few chapters which is great it helps put everything into light. Jet is seeing the light and understanding the lengths he must go to in order to make sure that Nila is safe and the final debt will end forever. This book does not come with out sadness I am sad to report. I wont do spoilers you know me better… but I will tell you there are some sad moments with those happy ones. We have watched Nila grow into a strong young powerful woman who might just be able to take down a 1000 year old debt that should not still be happening. We have watched Jet find himself and understand that no matter what you must follow your heart and do what’s right. You never know what is going to happen in life and I think that Pepper does a great job of showing us that the past is never really in the past and that everything can come to light again…… This was the prefect ending to the prefect book series.
This series is by far one of the best series I have ever or will ever read. I love each word of each page of these books. Pepper does such an amazing job here is a link to everything I have ever posted on my blog about Pepper Winters:

Harper Sloan took something that every girl thinks about and feels (well almost every girl)and wrote an amazing story from it. I for one will forever be grateful. I don’t have the best self esteem and I try my hardest not to let me soon to be teenage daughter see that but it is hard. What I loved about this book is it was prefect it should you just what you needed to see and feel! No one is prefect and no one should ever feel like they are less than prefect for not being well prefect!

Mirror, mirror … who’s the fairest of them all?
I still cringe when I hear that line. A fairy tale that had girls pretending they were the fairest, the most beautiful, and the most entitled. A fairy tale most couldn’t grow out of turned my haunted childhood memories into a living nightmare. Girls who grew up believing that pile of garbage became the meanest of all ‘mean girls.’
And those mean girls were right – it was a line meant for all the beautiful people in the world – and I knew the answer would never be me.
The women with long legs, flat stomachs, and perfect chests.
The type of women Kane Masters gravitated toward.
Well, that’s definitely not Willow Tate.
No. That will never be me.
Because I’m completely imperfect.
And … I hate myself.
I have no idea what Kane could possibly see in someone like me when he could have them.
My Thoughts: 5 plus stars for Harper she once again blows my mind. She is a rock star in her own right. She takes a taboo subject and rocks the hell out of it. I am not sure what I would do with out her books……
Willow Tate is all of us to be honest. She doesn’t like herself doesn’t feel like she is good enough in any way. And this is always shoved down her throat by her step dad and half sister even more so after a terrible accident. Her life seems to be nothing but big downfalls….
Kane is a hot sexy actor who is over the one night stands and the fake people of Hollywood. He knows what he wants but just hasn’t found it. When fate brings them together it is a shock to his system. He feels like he has never met anyone like her before. And he doesn’t want to lose that but he isn’t sure how to get her.
When these two finally come together it is at one of the lowest points in Willows life but also one of the highest. He hears Willow and her step father going at it and just when he is about to come in and save day he sees that not only does this hot ass woman have this on her own she looks great doing it. From there everything becomes a whirl wind. And Willow is learning to love herself and let herself be herself. I know that’s a lot of her selves right there lol.
In the end the moral of this story is to love yourself and surround yourself with people who love you for you and no one else.
“Are you nervous right now?”
“Tell me why.” His demand, steady and calm, gives me the courage I need to tell him. To open a vein and bleed my insecurities.
“I’m not perfect,” I whisper.
“And neither am I, Willow. I don’t want perfect. What so many see as perfect, to me, is fake. Perfect isn’t achievable naturally. No one, and I mean no one, is perfect.”
I’m shaking my head before he’s even done speaking, but one long finger comes up and presses against my lips before I can speak.
“No, let me finish. There isn’t beauty in perfection. It’s as fake as the image the word projects. Beauty is found in imperfection, Willow, because to admit you’re not perfect means you’re admitting you’re not whole and absolute. When I think of myself, I see someone willing to admit he’s as far from complete as it gets because, in order to get to that perfection, I need to find the other part of me who will make my life better. To take all the faults I have and fill them, and only then will I be there. You see, the way I see it, the only way to become perfect is to find that perfectly imperfect person who brings it out of you.”
When he stops, I swear I might have stopped breathing. How am I supposed to respond to that?
“Do you trust me?” he asks, his voice strong and sure.
“Yes, Kane. Nerves or not, I do.”
“Then let me show you what I see when I look at you.”
He brings his hands up, framing my face once again in a way I’m quickly becoming addicted to the feeling of. His warm eyes implore, begging me without words to let him continue. I do not intend to stop him, regardless of the butterflies currently taking over my system. I’m all in.
ON THE ROCKS (VAGABONDS #3) By Jade C Jamison
We all know that I love Jade. One she is amazing person and two she is an amazing author! And her books have a way of sucking you in like no other! This series was no different
conclusion to the Vagabonds trilogy!
second fiddle in the all-girl rock band the Vagabonds, lead guitarist Kyle
Summers decides to break out on her own and puts together a band that helps her
shine as a solo act.
But the road is
uphill and success seems elusive. She begins to question herself and her
talent, wondering if she should sell out to win the adoration of her old fans
or stubbornly follow her heart and continue to languish in relative obscurity.
off-again love interest CJ Slavin helps Kyle get her new band off the ground
but refuses to commit to their relationship, once more leaving Kyle feeling
alone, unloved, and unimportant, and those emotions lead her to do rash,
irrevocable things on the road, things that could drive CJ away for good. Will
they finally admit their feelings to one another and forsake all others or
split for good, and will Kyle finally find the fame she’s been working her ass
off for or will she leave it all behind, a broken woman?
Find out in the
final tale of the Vagabonds trilogy!
My Thoughts: I have never read a Jade C Jamison book I didn’t like and here is why… She will do all of her research get to know the ins and outs before writing. She takes her time to make sure that the story is getting the proper attention is deserves and that is one of the many reasons I love her stories. We have come to end with the wonderful Vagabonds and I am sad to see them go. But I am glad I read their journey. We end up back with Kyle who is still learning her place in the music world. She is still trying to come into her and learn how to keep a band together. None of this is easy when you are in love with someone you can’t have. We have watched Kyle grow up and become a young women and an even better musician. This book is full of surprises.
Kyle is still learning who she is and what she’s about and trying to figure out if “selling out” is the same and growing and trying new things. While doing this she makes even more mistakes and has a few surprises for us. What happens in Vegas ends up on facebook these day even before you know it happened.
We get to see a couple of old friends in this book which is awesome. We all know that Jet is my favorite and I get to see him again, and we get to come back to home town whoop whoop!!
If you haven’t started reading the Vagabonds because you think it’s a teeny bobber book you couldn’t be more wrong!!

On the Run (Vagabonds #1)
On the Road (Vagabonds #2)
TIGHT By Alessandra Torre
Everything that I have read by Alessandra Torre has been amazing and this is no different. She took sex trafficking something that is very taboo and made an amazing read.
I was happy in my small town. In my life as a single, thirty-two year old woman. I had a good job, wonderful friends, my independence.
I also hadn’t got laid in three years. Hadn’t been on a date in two. Had stopped counting calories and wearing makeup… a while ago.
Then Brett Jacobs waltzed in. Caressed my thigh, dug rough fingers into my hair, lowered his soft mouth to my skin, took sexual control of my mind and stirred it all around with what he packed in his pants. He flipped my quiet life upside down and crawled into a place in my heart I thought was dead.
The issue is his secret.
The issue is her.
The issue is that I don’t even know she exists, and he thinks she’s dead.
The issue is that shit is about to hit the fan and I can’t hold on to him tight enough.
My Thoughts: What is it that makes this woman write such amazing books!! Sex trafficking, drugs, and innocent girls makes for a book that you don’t think you’ll want to read…. But you do want to read it!
A small town girl goes on a girls weekend and has a little fun………
Brett is a millionaire who has a huge secret to hide but wants to get to know an innocent small town girl who is out with her friends.
When their relationship starts to bloom more, Riley starts to see things she’s not to sure of. Which can only lead to bad things, Brett’s secret is so big it could bring down an entire organization that is trying to help people……..
But when Riley gets mixed up in his business everything goes to hell

TAINTED BLACK (A Forbidden Romance) By: Shanora Williams
Dear Mr. Black,
I know you were hurting. I heard your cries. I wished over and over again that I could make it better, but as you stated I was too inexperienced; too good for someone as bad as you.
Perhaps you were right, but it didn’t matter because what I did know was that I loved the way you felt—loved the way you smelled. I loved how hard you got for me, and when you called me your Little Knight.
I can still remember that day in the park, when you held me close and kissed me deep. How you effortlessly made me cry your name on top of sweet smelling grass, making me feel like the only girl in the world. I loved how you looked at me, how you spoke to me.
I ‘d been madly in love with you ever since I was twelve years old, but I shouldn’t have been.
Isabelle would have hated it—my best friend. I couldn’t afford to lose her. Besides, you two had already lost enough. Losing Mrs. Black was the epitome.
It’s Chloe Knight.
I wanted to be there for you no matter what, but Isabelle needed me too.
And she would have hated me if she ever found out I was sleeping with her father.
** Tainted Black is a forbidden love-story about a girl who helplessly falls for her best friend’s father. After a tragic accident ends the life of Theo Black’s wife, he turns to the one person he has always found interesting.
Chloe Knight, the girl from across the street, his daughter’s best friend, and a person that is considered completely off limits for him. **
My Thoughts: Holy wow this book wasn’t what I thought it would be at all. Man oh man.
In this book we meet Chloe a girl who likes to keep to herself because she lives in a very rich snotty neighborhood. When she is about 12 year olds a family moved in across the street with a daughter her age and a “bad to the bone” biker dad. Chloe and Izzy hit it off right away from the day the Blacks move in.
We will now jump forward a few years and the girls are done with high school. When read get hits the Blacks everything changes. Chloe has had a crush on Mr. Black since forever ago. Now izzy has gone to college and Mr. Black is spiraling out of control.
Chloe goes to help him one night and if you thought losing Mrs. Black was going to change everything. This night will throw you through a loop.
Like I said Chloe has had a crush on Mr. Black for forever and now her little girl crush is coming true. Yes that’s right she has sex with her best friends father. But truly it isn’t more right?!!? Chloe leaves for college a few days later and doesn’t look back.
When her father gets very sick she comes home for the summer to help take of him. And low and behold Mr. Black is there and things go crazy from there
I’ve been trying to write this review for a couple of days and every time I type it I have to change it because I keep putting spoilers so really that is where I will leave you. Let me just tell you the ending is not what I saw coming at all
AFTER DARK (Night Owl Trilogy Book #3) By M. Pierce
In the final novel of the Night Owl Trilogy from bestselling author M. Pierce, can a passion that has withstood many ordeals become a love strong enough to last a lifetime?
Matt Sky is trying to return to normal, having faked his death and come back to life. He and Hannah move back in together, and Matt attempts to put his demons to rest as they strive to grow their relationship into something durable and honest. But as the two become more and more entangled, and the heat between them intensifies in all the best possible ways, Matt’s desire for Hannah ignites cravings he has kept at bay for a long, long time…
Hannah finally has the life she’s always wanted: she’s pursuing her career as a literary agent at Granite Wing Agency, she is writing her first novel, and she is living with her hot, passionate lover. But as Matt and Hannah explore a new intimacy, Hannah finds that there are parts of Matt–dark, wild, uncontrollable parts–that he has yet to show her…that he has yet to show anyone…Under the surface of Matt and Hannah’s domestic bliss, deeply buried secrets burn, and all of a sudden, the least foreseen obstacle threatens to shatter everything they’ve worked so hard for.
My Thoughts: Well geez that was a pretty intense book and it had me scared for a few chapters……
M. Pierce truly out does himself here, Hannah and Matt were able to trick the world into something crazy and now they must deal with the backlash.
Neither one seem to be handling it very well or with the help of the other. But their lives are turning into something else at the same time.
Hannah feels like no matter what she does or how she thinks about certain things kids, marriage, and Matt himself all seem to be out of reach to her and she is thrown threw a new loop when her sister gives her some news that Hannah wasn’t ready for.
Matt feels like everyone is lying to him and laughing at him in a way… he keeps turning more into himself than ever before it really seems as if they wont be able to get him back…
When Hannah does the only thing she can think of to pull him out everything changes and everything seems to be falling into place.

Other Books in the Trilogy:
DEEP By Kylie Scott
Positive. With two little lines on a pregnancy test, everything in Lizzy Rollins’ ordinary life is about to change forever. And all because of one big mistake in Vegas with Ben Nicholson, the irresistibly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. So what if Ben’s the only man she’s ever met who can make her feel completely safe, cherished, and out of control with desire at the same time? Lizzy knows the gorgeous rock star isn’t looking for anything more permanent than a good time, no matter how much she wishes differently.
Ben knows Lizzy is off limits. Completely and utterly. She’s his best friend’s little sister now, and no matter how hot the chemistry is between them, no matter how sweet and sexy she is, he’s not going to go there. But when Ben is forced to keep the one girl he’s always had a weakness for out of trouble in Sin City, he quickly learns that what happens in Vegas, doesn’t always stay there. Now he and Lizzie are connected in the deepest way possible…but will it lead to a connection of the heart?
My thoughts: How does Kylie come up with these hot rockers.
We have met all of the rest of the band and we watched them marry in Vegas and fall in love; get puppies and maybe even make a baby.
But Ben has always been a mystery if you will. He was always quite and stuck to himself and his music, he isn’t flashy and doesn’t care to spend money on stupid things. He is just him and having fun that’s all he wanted. This all changed when he met Annie’s little sister Liz. She got to him and he wasn’t sure why.
Liz could not believe that her sister fell in love and married a rock star. When she met the band she had no idea what to expect. she knew what she wanted to do with her life and had her eyes on the prize. She begged for Ben’s number and they soon became text buddies. On his side she knew that he just wanted to be friends he said so many times. This didn’t change things for her not in the least. She knew she wanted him and couldn’t help herself. She knew it was a bad idea and so they kept their texting a secret. But as we all know secrets don’t stay hidden nor do they make friends. But she wasn’t looking for a friend……
One night changes everything, one night can make or break you. When Liz discovers that she is caring Ben’s baby she is truly lost. This isn’t what she needed in her life right now and she knew that it isn’t what he wanted. She can do this on her own she thinks, but when one smart mouthed date exposes her secret everything changes.
Liz and Ben try to work on things together and don’t really know how to do this. But Ben has now broken some much trust in so many and Liz has disappointed her sister and friends they both feel like they are drowning and no one is there to save them. Can you be just friends with someone you love with out killing yourself.
Kylie finishes the series with a BANG AND A HUGE ONE! Let me tell you we all have those books that you know you will read over and over and the stage dive series is one of those books! From Lick to Deep (ohhh that sounds dirty) you are hooked in from the first page to the last page!!!
“C’mon. How have you been, really? What’s been going on with you?” he pushed. I frowned at him and he frowned right back. “Liz, please.”
I groaned in defeat. “All right, I suck.”
“Why do you suck?”
“So very many reasons.” I pushed my hair back from my face—no more hiding. “Pregnancy sucks. It’s natural, my ass. I finally stop throwing up, but I’m tired all the time. Giving up coffee was horrendous. None of my clothes fit right because of these stupid breasts, and they ache constantly. I have to pee like every thirty seconds, and then to top it off, I cry every time the Healthy Hound ad comes on. It’s ridiculous”
Little wrinkles appeared either side of his nose. “You cry at a dog food ad?”
“Yes. The puppies jump all over each other to get to their mother and it’s just so beautiful, with their cute little tails wagging and everything.”
He just stared at me.
“I know its psycho, Ben. Believe me, I’m well aware of this.”
“Hey, it’s fine.” He covered a smile with his hand. Too late, the bastard.
“You try dealing with all these hormones going apeshit. Crap. Apeshoot.”
“I’m trying not to swear,” I explained. “You want the first word our child comes out with to be something bad?”
“No. Gotcha.” The man was incredibly bad at hiding a grin. “No swearing.”
Priest (Priest #1) by Sierra Simone
There are many rules a priest can’t break.
A priest cannot marry. A priest cannot abandon his flock. A priest cannot forsake his God.
I’ve always been good at following rules.
Until she came.
My name is Tyler Anselm Bell. I’m twenty-nine years old. Six months ago, I broke my vow of celibacy on the altar of my own church, and God help me, I would do it again.
I am a priest and this is my confession.
***Priest is a standalone, full-length novel with an HEA. For mature audiences only.***
My Thoughts: Holy shit this was a great book and totally not what I was envisioning! Sierra is able to take some thing that is so holy and pure and make it so it is not a bad thing when you cross the line. I loved every minute; every line of this book.
We meet Tyler he has given his life to God and with that he has given up many things we all take for granted, sex, love, children, life as a whole. He is a Priest a Father in a small town when one day Poppy an out of Towner sits down to confess her sins and everything changes for both of them!
Poppy came from a “great” groomed family that she was made to fit in the prefect role of, well one day everything she thought was good and true she saw wasn’t so she left and became some what; what she wanted. Only to be followed/stalked so she moved again and tried to start over. She can’t help herself she loves sex and physical contact. When she moved to this small town it was to get away and start fresh; only we all know that the past has a way of making itself present.
Father Tyler has given his life to God even after all the hard ache his family has been through. He never questioned what he was doing or why he was doing it. It just was and he was ok with that. But one day a new person sat down in his booth to confess and everything changes. He starts to question if this was really his calling? If he had made the right move? His family has had problems with the church in the past and even they weren’t sure if he made the right choice.
Poppy makes him rethink everything about what he is doing; he loves his work but can he have both? Can Poppy out run her past and become the person that she always wanted to be? Together can they make the person they know they each are and can be?
Sierra did an amazing job I don’t think I have ever read a book like this and I don’t think that I would want to again. She hit the nail on the head for sure. Great job.
Thoughtful (Thoughtless #1.5) By S.C. Stephens
Blurb: A new novel in the Thoughtless series from #1 New York Times bestselling author S. C. Stephens!
Every story has two sides, and in this new book, the epic love story between Kiera and Kellan is shown through his eyes.
All Kellan Kyle needs is his guitar, and some clean sheets of paper. Growing up in a house that was far from a home, he learned a hard lesson: You’re worthless. Now his life is comfortably filled with passionate music, loyal band mates, and fast women… until he meets her.
Kiera makes him ache for more. Makes him feel for the first time that he’s worth more. But there’s one problem— she’s his best friend’s girl.
Just when Kellan thought his emotional defenses were rock solid, Kiera’s indecisive heart wreaks havoc on his soul, changing him forever. Losing Kiera is not an option..
My Thoughts: Holy shit balls! I truly don’t think I can ever say one bad thing about Kellan or Keira! Ok well that’s not true they were very good at hurting each other that’s for sure.
We’ve read everything from Kiera’s POV but now we get it from the hottie from himself Kellan was so in love that he didn’t know what to do with himself.
You would think that we have read this story before and now we are just getting it from another side you could not be more wrong……. Yes parts over lap as they should but not when or where you think they might. Kellan does a great job of telling us his side and his pain truly becomes your pain. I don’t think I have ever felt the pain for a character the way I did for Kellan. I felt horrible from him from the start of Thoughtless but my goodness…..
S.C. Stephens does such a great job of showing you that you can write a book that every single person can FEEL not just read and understand but FEEL. She did an amazing job with the first three but I have to say I think that Thoughtful will forever by on my top of this series and now I think I have to go reread the entire series!

Heart Of Dixon By Danielle Jamie
Blurb: Life can change in a matter of seconds. One minute you’re laughing and enjoying life feeling invincible. Then BAM! Everything changes in a blink of an eye.
My life has always been one big crazy party. That is until everything spiraled out of control. We made a catastrophic misjudgment putting trust in two people with evil intentions. Sadly none of us knew until it was too late. Now my best friend’s life is hanging in the balance and danger still lurks in the shadows.
To make matters worse the ‘never fall in love’ motto I had all of my life just flew out the window at the worst time possible as I find myself torn between two men. What do you do when your heart is pulling you in one direction but your head is pulling you in another?
I can’t help but fear that all of my life before this moment was just the calm before the storm
Let me start by saying that Danielle doesn’t just write this book as a repeat of what savannah has already said. Yes parts over lap because they have too. This is a new story in almost every way. We all know and Dixon and Brooklyn and we love them. They are amazing, we know that Brooklyn is a spitfire who says what she means and means what she says. She is juggling three different men and no longer loving every minute of it. Something has changed for her, almost losing her best friend and knowing that savannah has found the love of her life as made Brooklyn look at things differently. Dixon on the other hand believes that the he doesn’t need a woman. And now he has eyes for Brooklyn but after toying with her for so long he wants her and only her. But only on his terms.
When Brooklyn decides she’s had enough of his games and starts to move on this is when Dixon sees everything he could be missing……..
