They call me Rage.
My real name is like a shadow, always close behind, but never quite able to catch up.
I fly under the radar because no one ever suspects I’m capable of the kind of brutal violence I commit each and every day.
You see, I’m a girl. I’m nineteen.
And I’m a killer.
This life is all I know. It s all I want to know. It keeps the s**t buried that I need kept buried. It allows me to live without thinking too much.
Without dwelling on the past.
It all changes when an ordinary boy becomes my next target.
And my first love.
I have to choose.
The only life I ve ever known has to die, or he does.
Either way, I ll be the one pulling the trigger…
All the Rage is a STANDALONE
She knew she was different, that she was unlike everyone else. She was ready to accept that, but her best friend, Cody, couldn’t; not just yet. Hope was ready to let her life go and become he she really was deep down; Rage. So after trying all of the things she promised Cody she would try, Hope left and Rage started her new life.
Rage loved her new life of explosions, pain, and freedom. She belonged to no one, and only took on jobs she wanted. The only person she would listen to was Smoke, who helped her get into this life she needed. So when he gave her a job “babysitting” she did it, even though she disliked it. Nolan was an injured Hockey player, and Rage was supposed to get as much information out of him about his parents as possible. So she created a scheme to get her into his daily life. Nolan jumped at the chance at having Rage around, he didn’t know why but he knew he wanted to make her his. Rage never thought she could ever feel any type of feeling for another person, so when feelings started happening towards Nolan she didn’t know what to think of them. Nolan knew he had to fight to make Rage see what they could be together and that he understood her life. They were the same, followed the same lifestyle. They just needed to stop lying to watch other about it.
Only Rage’s past was bound to cause her problems eventually, only she didn’t realize how much Rage she could have while protecting the people she truly cared about.
It was once said that if you love someone enough you should let them go. If they come back to you, they were always meant to be yours.
It’s kind of bullshit.
My story was a little different than most. I was a little different than most.
Because in my story, if you love someone enough, you should first drop the gun.
