Alysha’s Thoughts:

Nicole Edwards never ceases to amaze me with her writing skills. She never disappoints in any book she writes but let me tell you her book, Curtis, book one in Coyote Ridge series, is definitely taking the spot of being my all time favorite of hers. The dedication shown throughout her writing with this one just tore at my heart. The passion throughout the love story of two very strong individuals is just breathtaking. From the beginning you wonder if these love bird will make it especially when faced with several challenges that should tear them apart. I always feel emotionally connected with each book Nicole writes, but Curtis really just got to me. I’m thinking I’m really going to enjoy the Coyote Ridge Series!

Curtis sand Lorrie’s love story started when they were just kids out of greed by Lorrie’s father. They were so young when they married, Lorrie still just a child. From the moment Lorrie was pushed to Curtis, Curtis just knew he had to make Lorrie his, forever. They fell in love so quickly, things seemed to be going perfect until the day Lorrie’s father threatened to keep them apart. Finally under some negotiation Curtis was able to have Lorrie, by making her his wife. Even though they always wanted to get married they didn’t realize it would happen so soon. So to let Lorrie grow up some more Curtis decided to join the military to give them some time apart. As a couple are were faced with several challenges, most of which should of tore them apart. Instead these thing only made their love stronger, building their foundation for their family. Although they end up being faced with the biggest problem of all, you wonder if their love will help them make it through.

Erica’s Thoughts: Man Nicole has done it again. I have not read anything from her that I have not liked and this book is no different. I always wondered how Curtis and Lorrie started and this book delivered to the fullest extent. Curtis was well known around the town for having money and being who they are. Lorrie’s family known for their lack of money. One day Lorrie’s Dad makes her go talk to Curtis though at the time she has no idea why. Though their relationship starts off a little rocky their love grows like no other. Lorrie tried to push Curtis away so many times and he just wouldn’t budge and he never pushed her. Curtis is the man that every little girl wants to marry. Through all their ups and downs, money, no money, babies and no babies they just come out stronger and stronger and Nicole does another amazing job of making you feel like you are in the story. Thank you Nicole!
